  • The YWCA is a place to turn for so many women and their families who need a helping hand.

  • The YWCA encourages girls of all ages to explore their interests, try new activities, strengthen their creative abilities and academic performance.

The YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts [formerly YWCA of Greater Lawrence] was founded in 1892 to provide safe housing, job training and support to women moving from rural communities and overseas to work in area mills and shops. Today, a thriving social change agency, we serve more than 15,000 women, children and families from throughout Merrimack Valley, Essex County and Southern NH every year. We are an affiliate of the YWCA USA, the nation’s oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization working for social and economic change.

Join us for the 38th Annual Tribute to Women, which will be held virtually on May 13, 2021 at 6:30 PM.
