WE ARE HIRING

Camp Y-Wood is an affordable summer day camp, serving children ages 5 to 13. The camp site offers 22-acres of beautiful, sprawling grounds located on Captain’s Pond in nearby Salem, NH.

We’re committed to keeping camp affordable, and offer camperships to qualifying families. Fees include transportation, with convenient pick-up and drop-off times for working parents.

The Camp Experience

With a sandy waterfront beach, open fields, wooded areas, 2 covered pavilions and a new Main Cabin, there is plenty of room for children to spread out and enjoy a real outdoor adventure. Activities include:

Arts & Nature Crafts
Sports
Fishing
Outdoor Living
Hiking
Survival Skills

We offer an open format that allows each camper opportunities throughout the day to select activities that are of interest to them. And, by design, sessions are small — limited to 30 participants – – which ensures every child can participate fully.

Our staff consists of creative, enthusiastic, professionals experienced in the fields of childcare, education, fitness & coaching and all have CPR and First Aid certifications. There is also a full-time First Responder on site each day. Adult staff members remain with their groups throughout the day and assist certified instructors in specialty areas.

We are committed to encouraging campers to do the things they love to do, experiment with new things and discover their own creativity and passions for the outdoors. Each camper is connected to a specific staff person who monitors their level of engagement throughout the day.
