Empowering Transitions

At the YWCA, we are committed to empowering survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence, and homeless women on their journey towards economic self-sufficiency and securing a place they can proudly call home. At YWCA Fina House, we believe in the power of resilience, growth, and empowerment.

Our transitional housing programs provide a secure and well-appointed environment for individuals and families, offering them the opportunity to acquire the skills and confidence needed to transition to permanent, affordable housing of their own. We believe that every step forward is a victory, and we are here to support, empower, and uplift those in need in the Haverhill and Lawrence communities.

Transitional Housing Programs

At the YWCA, we proudly offer four distinct housing options ranging from temporary housing to permanent options in Lawrence and Haverhill Massachusetts. Each program is designed to not only offer a safe place to call home but to empower and uplift current or former victims of domestic and/or sexual violence, and homeless women.

Our commitment to these programs is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe haven to rebuild their lives. For each program you much qualify. Our offerings include:
