Empowering Young Minds in Our
After-School Programs
After-School and Out-of-School-Time Enrichment
At the YWCA, we provide a safe, enriching, and fun environment year-round for children aged 5 to 14 at three convenient locations. Our programs focus on academic success and aim to train children to become more engaged and effective learners. The program operates after school during the academic year and offers full-day services during school vacation weeks and the summer. Rest assured; all YWCA programs are fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Flexible Fees and Hours
We understand that every family’s needs are unique. That’s why our fees are based on a sliding scale considering family income and size, ensuring that parents pay what they can afford. Our after-school program runs from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year, except on school holidays. For your convenience, the program operates during school vacations and throughout the summer from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Engaging Activities and Enrichment
Our age-appropriate activities focus on social, emotional, and academic development. We empower children to make choices and express their creativity. After completing their homework, children are encouraged to participate in various options, whether it’s team sports, games, physical activities in our gymnasium, pool time, or visits to nearby parks. Homework Help is available with support from classroom educators, including one-on-one or small group tutoring for those who need it.
