OASIS Transitional Housing
The OASIS Project is an integral part of the YWCA’s Domestic Violence program, providing a transitional housing service that offers hope and healing to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. OASIS Program Transitional Housing at YWCA:
Our OASIS Program at the YWCA Fina House stands as a beacon of hope, expanding the critically needed housing opportunities and social services for some of our community’s most resilient women and families. We provide a nurturing environment, offering safe, affordable, and supportive housing. To participate in our transitional housing, mothers must be in school or employed, with their children enrolled in licensed childcare.
Through the OASIS Project, survivors embark on a transformative journey where they set and pursue personal and professional goals. We aim to empower these resilient individuals to break free from the cycle of family violence and homelessness, ultimately leading them toward safe, self-sufficient lives.
Your journey to a brighter future begins here
Within our apartment-style units, women embark on their journey of skill-building activities that empower them to recognize, pursue, and achieve their personal and professional aspirations. Our trained and dedicated professional staff work alongside these resilient women, guiding them in setting and reaching goals in employment, education, housing, financial stability, parenting, custody matters, and personal growth.
Residents can stay in the program for up to two years, ensuring they have the time and support needed to rebuild their lives. At OASIS, we believe in the strength and resilience of survivors, and we are committed to walking alongside them every step of the way.
