In addition to recognizing women who help contribute to communities within Essex County, the YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts will be raffling off four large gift baskets during this year’s virtual Tribute to Women. Each basket is worth at least $500, and any money donated during the raffle will go directly towards the upkeep of and programs provided by the YWCA. The contents of each basket are as follows:

  Already bottled, the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc bursts from the glass with energetic notes of fresh grapefruit, lime leaves, green apples and orange blossoms with wafts of dill seed and white pepper. Medium-bodied, the palate is practically electric with vibrant citrus and apple flavors and a wonderfully spicy background, finishing fantastically long, minerally and refreshing. $90

  1 Bedrock 2017 Sauvignon Blanc Judge Family Vineyard – 89 Points

  Lemon meringue, orange blossom and guava notes are rich, fragrant and juicy, set on a supple frame and showing off herbal tea accents on the finish. Drink now. 200 cases made. $40

  1 Limerick Lane 2018 Cole Ranch Riesling – 89 Points

  he 2018 Riesling Erster Zweieiiger Zwilling Cole Ranch comes from own-rooted, dry-farmed vines planted in 1973 in the Cole Ranch AVA in Mendocino County—the smallest appellation in the US and a monopole, owned entirely by Esterlina Vineyard & Winery (a Sterling Family property). It opens with notions of lime zest and beeswax over citrus blossom, honey, candied peach and petrichor. Light-bodied, dry and textural, it’s mineral-driven in the mouth with wicked juicy acidity and a long, racy finish. $36
