Tribute to Women: Step 2, Nominee Profile Information

Step 2

As the nominator, your candidate’s Step 1 form was accepted, and now you must complete Step 2 to share the details of your Nominee.  The form to complete

Please note that as the Nominator, you must complete and submit Step 2. We suggest that you write your responses in a Word document, then cut and paste responses in this form when you’re ready!

Nominator, complete all information, and then click ‘Submit’.  Please note that Nominator information must match what was previously submitted in Step 1.  Otherwise, application will be disqualified.

Within 48 hours of submission, you will receive an email confirmation that your form was received.  If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact Jeanne Osborn.

Your Nominee’s profile will go to a representative, who will share her information with the Committee.  If we have any questions or need further clarification, you, as Nominator, will be contacted.  Additionally, the representative will contact the Honoree with instructions for her to complete her Autobiographical Statement/Photo Submission [Step 3].

We highly recommend that, as the Nominator, you now contact your candidate and share with her that she has been accepted as an Honoree for Tribute to Women.

The deadline for submission of Step 2 is Monday, March 1, 2021.

    Question 1: Tell us about the Nominee’s work history and her superior contributions or achievements in her profession. Be specific and describe any obstacles or challenges she overcame which make her unique (2 to 3paragraphs). (Maximum 1300 characters)

    Question 2: Please cite specific examples of how the Nominee contributes to her community [volunteer, civic, etc] and how she serves as a role model for others (2 to 3 paragraphs). (Maximum 750 characters)

    Question 3: Please list 3 to 5 attributes which describe the characteristics or qualities of the Nominee. Maximum 120 characters.

    By clicking ‘submit’, you are submitting this candidate for review and you agree that all information is accurate. A Committee Representative will be in touch with you via email within 48 hours.

    Review Process

    The Committee, representing a cross-section of business and community leaders, will review all Nominee information submitted.  The YWCA reserves the right to make final decisions about Honoree nominees, and all decisions are final.

    The 2020 Honoree List will be communicated to Honorees and Nominators on or before Monday, March 1, 2021.

    Important Information

    • Honorees and only their Nominators attend a Welcome Breakfast on Thursday, April 11th from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the YWCA’s Lawrence site.
    • Honorees and Nominators only attend a special reception from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. immediately prior to the luncheon on Thursday, May 14, 2020 with YWCA Executive Staff, Board President and Members.
    • Luncheon guests (spouse, family, friends & colleagues) may make and pay for reservations by visiting, selecting ‘Tribute’ and selecting Attend the Event.
    • While there are no fees to make a nomination, all Nominators pay for their luncheon reservation at $75, which must be received on or before Thursday, April 10, 2020.  The YWCA pays for all Honoree luncheons. Often, Nominators purchase a sponsorship or a congratulatory ad.
