The YWCA’s transitional housing programs offer safe, well-appointed settings where survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence, homeless women and homeless pregnant teens can gain the skills they need to become economically self-sufficient and move with their children to permanent, affordable housing of their own.
A cornerstone of YWCA transitional housing is our Economic Empowerment Project, a comprehensive and highly individualized program of workshops combined with individual case management that provide the tools the women need to live independently and support themselves and their children.
